Bouquets
When you receive your bouquet
The flowers are supplied with moisture around the stems so that they can stay fresh for up to 8 hours.
Use a clean vase and fill the water to the water mark on the string of the bouquet. Remove any leaves that fall into the water.
Spring flowers such as tulips, hyacinths and lilies thrive best in cold water. Roses, peonies, sunflowers, hydrangeas and branches with very woody stems do best in warm to hot water.
Change the water regularly, preferably every 2 days, and fill up as needed. Keep the bouquet away from direct sunlight, radiators, and fruit.
For prolonged shelf life, the bouquet can be placed in a cool room at night.
